Message of Support
April 22, 2020
A message from:
C.M. (Curtis) Zablocki, M.O.M. , Deputy Commissioner, Commanding Officer "K" Division
I wanted to send a quick note to offer my thanks this National Volunteer Week. Almost 13 million Canadians gave of themselves this past year, helping out others in a multitude of ways, doing tasks that otherwise may never get accomplished.
I’m very grateful for the generosity and dedication of the many volunteers that assist the RCMP - not just this week, but every week. You willingly keep an eye out for your neighbours by participating in Rural Crime Watch, and that helps contribute to the safety of Albertans. Through your watchful eyes, we are able to see further and wider in to our rural communities, and we wouldn’t be able to do that without your support. The Alberta RCMP appreciates the assistance that your organization and its volunteers bring. I hope you are able to take a few moments this National Volunteer Week to celebrate the many great things you do.
On behalf of all of the Alberta RCMP, thank you, and I hope you all have a wonderful week.
